If you have been inspired by this video please share it with your friends. Thank you. This class is based on Likutey Moharan Lesson 24: In Parshat Bo, the first mitzvah of the Jewish people as a nation, the Korban Pesach, is introduced. The Torah commands that it be performed derech kvitzah ve’dilug—with jumping and movement—signifying joy in mitzvot. Rebbe Nachman teaches that performing mitzvot with simcha generates spiritual momentum, uplifting all levels of a person’s soul and awakening divine protection. The story of the shamash of Berditchev illustrates how simcha in mitzvot, even in the face of obstacles, has the power to overcome harsh decrees. By embracing joy in our service of Hashem, we activate spiritual redemption and bring ourselves closer to the ultimate Geulah.
